The origin of the project
We are two friends, met at business school. One of the things we have in common? We have both been passionate about cosmetics and well-being since we were young.
We have always liked to take care of ourselves, take time and immerse ourselves in a world of relaxation and well-being. We tested dozens of candles, loved some, hated others. Each time we were missing something; the scent was not present enough or was too strong, the wax burned quickly or burned poorly. Also, when the candles were finished, we always asked ourselves “What am I going to do with this jar? »: throw it away? Turn it into a pencil holder? In a glass of water?
Once we graduated, we each worked our way out, until the obvious became too obvious. We had to make our common passion and our convictions our daily life.
Always driven by a desire for female empowerment, we decided to embark on this crazy adventure!
That’s when Belaia, our sustainable candle brand, was born.
