The origin of the project
We are two friends, we met on the benches of business school. One of our commonalities? We are both passionate about cosmetics and well-being since we are very young.
We have always liked to take care of ourselves, take time and immerse ourselves in a world of relaxation and well-being. We have tested dozens of candles, loved some, hated others. Each time, we were missing something; the perfume was not present enough or was too strong, the wax burned too quickly or did not burn well. Also, when the candles were finished, we always wondered, "What am I going to do with this jar?" : throw it ? Turn it into a pencil holder? Glass of water?
Once we graduated, we each deepened our knowledge on our own, until the evidence was too obvious. We had to make our common passion and our convictions our daily lives.
Animated by a desire for female empowerment, we decided to embark on this crazy adventure!
It was then that Belaia, our sustainable candle brand, was born.
